At the occasion of the Adobe MAX yearly conference in Los Angeles from 23-27 October we organize a special Adobe User Group meeting in Geneva.

We are showing the “keynote” event live, which is presenting the latest innovations and strategies to come in the context of interactive media and design industry.
Each year MAX is a huge event for the field since it is at this occasion that some of the most important information and best kept secrets for the coming months are revealed for the first time.

The Adobe User Group Geneva meeting is starting with a short introduction to the Adobe Flash Platform (Flex, Flash, AIR) context and a presentation of recent innovations. Then the keynote is being broadcasted and we propose a chat session at the end to share ideas and opinions.

Mission:

In our IS Development Team, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering web-based applications that provide high value to our end-users and that are a key element in IMD’s information systems strategy. You should be a skilled and professional developer that has the experience and expertise to meet technical requirements at any point in the development lifecycle and be able to implement current best practices in web development methodologies. Ideally you should have experience in integrating different front- and back-end technologies to create a complete transactional system and rich end-user experience.

The Position:

Be able to develop in C# using Microsoft .NET techologies with current best coding methodologies in a project-based team environment

Be able to integrate web applications into back-end systems like Oracle, Siebel and SQL Server

Be proficient in writing application level SQL

Understand and have experience in web integration technologies such as web services and XML over HTTP

Understand and have experience in designing user interfaces and be conversant in basic web design principles

Design web-based solutions that meet business requirements

Understand how to work from a variety of design requirements, including use cases, and be able to produce timely, accurate and value-added applications

Understand testing methodologies and be able to write unit and UAT test cases

Be able to communicate both written and verbally with different audiences and be able to give coherent non-technical presentations when required
